E. Golfing - Golf Essential

This is a design project that cooperated with Oregon Scientific company. This project is aimed to design a set of electronic health product target for the senior market.

This is a golf device to enhance the value of golf sport. This design includes a watch act as a receiver and a handheld device act as a transmitter. By providing accurate data of the surrounding information for the golfer which is related to their performance, the golfer can train themselves by using this device and to make golf more fun. Besides, it will provide weather information that could be a threat to them.

II Museum Guide - interactive interaction museum guide

This is a design project that focus on the communication of the visitors inside the HK Art Museum. It is aimed to foster the public engagement inisde the museum to make the exhibitions more dynamic. The use of this museum guide can enhance the interaction inside the museum by encouraging and allowing visitors to participate inside the exhibitions.

Hong Kong “Southern District Literary Trail” Landmark Design -- 望海‧望愛‧望張愛玲 Gazing at the Sea, Longing for Love, a Revelation of Chang Eileen

A design competition held by South District Council and cooperated with PolyU School of design.
The design is aimed to let the public learnt about Eileen Chang and her Chinese literature in a casual way. The landmark is focused on Eileen Chang's life in Hong Kong and her famous novel <Love in a Fallen City>.

'Poly Brick' furniture design

This project is aimed to design a set of public furniture for The Polytechnic University public area. This design is based on the Tetris to be the main theme of the furniture.

Physically, the symmetrical structure and the use of red bricks of PolyU match with the forms of the tetris.

Psychologically, the tetris is used to present the quality of PolyU. It is to show the feeling of playful, dynamic, energetic, flexible and intelligence of PolyU.

'Hammering Speaker' concept cell phone design

This project is about product semantics. The cell phone is a concept phone that present the pride of the 20 something nowadays in HK. Through the forms and the functions of this cell  phone, the needs and characteristics of the pride of 20 something in HK are captioned and fulfilled.

Cross Slits Mood Lighting

This is a mood light by using cross slits as the visual elements and by using it to have deflection of light to create a network of lighting patterns.

Concept Hairdryer Design

"Worried" is meant by competition between each other in a limited space to struggle for exit and survival.

It is a concept design of hairdryer. it is to present the "worried" emotion feeling.

The design of the hair dryer and the product I chose for stage 2 was based on the concept of fertilization of sperm and egg. As sperms have to gain the chance of fertilization, they compete with each other to struggle for the entrance into the egg cell as fast as they can. Otherwise, they will die.

Thus, I used the hair dryer as the application of the concept and try to use the form of the hair dryer to express my statement for worried emotion.
